Rosa Cabrera has more than 20 years experience in life sciences, tobacco, and consumer health sectors, with extensive expertise across multiple areas, successfully leading programs from concept to commercialization through various roles in research and development, quality, regulatory affairs, and PMO organizations.
Currently, she oversees strategic initiatives, focusing on program delivery excellence and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and innovation.
Rosa holds a PhD in Bioprocess Engineering-Biotechnology from Bremen University, Germany and a BSc in Biochemistry from Argentina.
Elizabeth Cairns
Elizabeth has more than 10 years’ experience leading cannabinoid translational science, developing cannabinoid-based treatments and advocating for medical access policies in Canada and Australia.
Currently, she is leading cannabinoid scientific strategy and innovation, working with multi-disciplinary research teams to generate data that translates cutting-edge discoveries into medicines that impact patients’ lives.
She holds a PhD in Pharmacology/Neuroscience from Dalhousie University, Canada and a BSc in Biology from the University of Prince Edward Island, Canada.
Katherine Ciambrone
Katherine has more than 30 years’ experience in strategy, research and development (R&D), manufacturing, commercial, and compliance within highly regulated environments, including the pharmaceutical and legalized-cannabis industries. She informs and educates stakeholders about the dynamic and fast-paced nature of the cannabinoid industry.
Katherine has a Master’s degree in Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs from Temple University, US, and in Organizational Leadership from University of Pennsylvania, US.
Gordon Dawson
Gordon has more than 20 years’ experience leading teams and driving innovation in the biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, and consumer health sectors. His responsibilities have included defining research and development (R&D) strategies and overseeing innovation projects that deliver impactful products and solutions.
Gordon has a PhD in Pharmaceutical Science and a BSc in Pharmacy from the University of Strathclyde, UK.
Roxana Drake
Roxanna has more than 25 years’ experience, with responsibilities including leading the clinical development of multiple products across a number of therapeutic areas and holding management roles in clinical development, clinical operations, and medical affairs.

Simon Geopfert
Simon has more than 15 years’ experience leading research teams and driving innovation in plant science, sustainable agriculture, and consumer health sectors. His responsibilities have included defining research & development (R&D) strategies and overseeing multidisciplinary projects that deliver scientifically robust and commercially viable innovations.

Kasia has nearly 20 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical and natural products industry, with expertise in analytical chemistry across all phases of drug development.
She leads the establishment and management of botanical innovation, managing technical, and analytical protocols for plant processing and characterization, directing cross-functional research projects, and overseeing end-to-end product development.
Kasia holds a Master’s degree in Bioscience Engineering from the University of Technology, Faculty of Chemistry, in Wroclaw, Poland.

Dr Blaine Phillips
Blaine has more than 25 years’ experience in drug discovery and safety assessment. His expertise spans across disciplines including cancer invasion and metastasis, stem cell biology and development, and diabetes. He has led numerous GLP-compliant preclinical safety assessment studies evaluating the risk of aerosols, from novel smoke-free tobacco products, or from novel preclinical compounds.
He holds a PhD in Medical Sciences from the University of Calgary, Canada.
Yuvraj Singh
Yuvraj has more than 15 years’ experience leading strategic initiatives and driving innovation across technology, consumer electronics, pharmaceutical, and tobacco sectors. His responsibilities have included leading E2E strategy across the value chain (including commercial and supply chain strategy), M&A, defining and executing supply chain strategy for new product launches, and overseeing cross-functional projects that have delivered significant business impact and customer value.
He holds an MBA in Finance & Marketing from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, India and a BTech in Computer Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, India.

Nick has more than 15 years’ experience in establishing strategic partnerships and building brands. He has specialized in the development and commercialization of medical cannabis products, creating effective routes to market in key markets such as Canada, Israel and Australia.
